Poppy Pendant 925 Sterling Silver

Description

A poppy opened flat to four centimetres, hand made in oxidised sterling silver so the crumpled tissue of the petals reads properly in shadow rather than flattening under polish. Eight and a half grams gives it enough weight to lie still against the chest. The poppy carries a good deal of meaning in Britain — remembrance, sleep, consolation — which makes this a quietly considered gift rather than a decorative one. Cord included.
